natural foods store, antique and craft shops, book stores, playgrounds, a
library, a movie theater, a drive-in, a golf course, sporting equipment rentals
(canoes, kayaks and sailboats), eateries of all varieties (including popular
dairy bars with delicious ice cream), 10 houses of worship, a hospital and Reny’s
(A Maine Adventure).
During
your stay, there are numerous nearby activities to enjoy. Naples on Long Lake offers activities including
cruises on the Songo River Queen II (a replica of a Mississippi
stern wheeler), para-sailing, jetski rentals, batting cages, bowling, miniature
golf and seaplane rides over the Lakes Region. The White Mountains offer scenic
canoe and rafting trips, exploration of Mount
Washington, hiking trails, amusement parks and outlet
shopping. A day trip to Maine’s
