History
A third generation and family tradition,
Westwood Cottages were started by Fernando and Gladys Potter in 1950 with the help of their son Fred. They started building one cottage at a time starting with the small cottage called the Honeymoon Cottage, which was expanded several years later. Over the years a total of 10 cottages were built—all with a beautiful lake view. In the early 90's Fred and his wife Jean continued the tradition by getting to know the families that have returned over the years and have become good friends. Now, Jean and Fred's son Jamie and his wife Sarahjo continue the tradition, greeting old friends and continuing to make new ones. Vacationing at Westwood Cottages has become a summer tradition for several generations of many families continuing to make new memories year after year.
